In 1977, Milan Kroupa Sr., an ambitious and entrepreneurial young immigrant, built United Cleaning Services Ltd. The initial start of his entrepreneurial days were challenging, trying to balance his young family’s needs, with establishing a business. However, Milan’s unwavering determination to overcome incredible challenges built the foundation for everything United Services Group is today. Servicing only a few stores in 1977, Milan’s vision was to create a service company that would always deliver on its promises, and become a leader in quality and innovation in the facility maintenance industry. In 1998, United Services de Nettoyage was established in Montreal, QC. Shortly after, in 2009, came ProCare Equipment Services. United Cleaning Services went on to establish its presence nationally in Atlantic Canada and the west coast a few years later. Pursuing a personal lifetime of interest in aviation, Milan, an aviation enthusiast, discovered Edenvale in the spring of 2003, during one of his training flights with his instructor. The grandness, beauty and military history of Edenvale struck his interest, and he purhcased the facility with plans to restore the airfield and accompanying buildings. Today, Edenvale is the ultimate flying experience, with a flight school, residential apartments, administrative offices and flight instruction classrooms. Edenvale has recently added the Edenvale Aviation Heritage Foundation (EAHF) Museum, which currently proudly houses the Avro Arrow (actual size) Replica. With passion to succeed, and following on their father’s footsteps, Milan’s children now continue to build the United Services Group of Companies with the same core values, passion and tremendous focus towards customers, partners, and employees.
Dennis Correia is is the Executive Vice President of Administration for Eastern Canada, and has been part of Bee-Clean Building Maintenance since he was a young man. His father, Joe, is the President and CEO of Bee-Clean. Like his father, Dennis shares the passion and vision for a company that provides the best service to its customers while always treating every team member as part of their family.
Dennis has been an integral part of Bee-Clean’s expansion for over two decades, helping the company establish many regional offices aimed at supporting Bee-Clean’s fast growth across Canada. This includes the opening of branches in Ottawa (2000), in Quebec (2008) and Halifax (2012).
Dennis holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Manitoba, Asper School of Business. Throughout his career, Dennis has been an active supporter of the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI), ISSA®, the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and several other associations and committees that support the values Bee-Clean holds as a leader in the commercial cleaning industry.
Dennis is based out of Toronto, ON, and is the proud father of three sons. It is his hope that one day they will lead Bee-Clean into the future and continue the family-centric business tradition.
David Clementino has been with Hallmark Housekeeping for over 16 years and is very adept with the operations aspect of the janitorial industry. In 2009, he was responsible for the successful design and implementation of Hallmark’s exclusive purchasing software. Clementino currently oversees the company’s procurement process while controlling all purchasing budgets and working closely with vendors. He has been an active ISSA member and certified CIMS-GB Expert since 2012. Through ISSA trade shows and educational programs, Clementino continues to innovate the company’s cleaning operations and green cleaning policies.
In 1989, Michael Kroupa joined United Cleaning Services under the tutelage of his father Milan Kroupa Sr. Michael started in the business leading the Carpet Care Division, cleaning existing customers’ facilities as well as building up new clientele. Michael quickly moved into different areas of operations, starting with the Special Services Division, followed by Area Manager for the Retail Cleaning Division in Ontario. In January 1998, Michael focused on Montreal to organize the opening of the Quebec Division, United Services de Nettoyage Ltée. Shortly after, Michael focused on expanding to Atlantic and Western Canada. In the Fall of 2001, he took over the position of Director of Operations, Retail Cleaning Division in Ontario, and in 2003, the position of Executive Vice President overseeing all of United’s operations. Michael subsequently was groomed to take over the CEO leadership in 2015.
Currently, Michael is focused on taking United into a new era, with a compelling brand message embracing an innovative digital environment for our customers, partners, and employees. In addition, focusing on building United’s commitment to sustainability to our planet and community by championing People’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Long-Term Socioeconomic growth. United’s commitment to Uplift People and Communities Support refugees, immigrants, indigenous people, individuals experiencing homelessness and marginalized populations to get jobs or set up their own businesses. Michael’s dedication as a “second generation” United leader and his continuing commitment to further develop the United Services Group of companies stems from his father’s principles of building long-term relationships, respect in the industry, ethical business practices, and creating an innovative culture.
